No and only for one reason. I don't care if the freak is guilty of steroids. I hate him with a passion because he is blind. He is blind with fame and the record. Does he care about the Giants? No. Does he care if they ever make the playoffs again? Probably not. Does he ever say "Gee, I wish the team can play a great game and we can make the playoffs"? No. He should have retired a long time ago and does not care about baseball or the team. He basically stays in the game to break the record. He doesn't want that Division-Clinching 2 RBI double. He doesn't want to get that RBI single to win the pennant. He wants to get that homerun in a crucial game that needs patience and small hits, to break the record. Then he blows it and pops it up in foul territory to lose the game. Then, when the team is eliminated from the playoffs, he hits 20 homeruns in the final 2 games and earns the record. I hate him for that. He is there for the fame, not the game. I am writing that down! Great rhyme don't ya think?

No Bonds took steriods and everyone knows it. He came back from one season with muscles and the season before he was just a shrimp. Working out can't do that much for you. Bonds is a liar and a cheater and should not even be in the record books or make it to the hall of fame.

They outed Bonds a long time ago, and everybody knows he was juicing. Because he did that, most people would consider it cheating. I do. It's sad that he wasn't willing to put in the work to achieve that goal, and took the easy way with steroids. I do think that when he breaks the record (and I'm sure he will) baseball doesn't make a big thing about it. He'll have broken the record, but most people will know that he really didn't deserve it.

I do not want Bonds to break the record.
If he does and they never prove he took steroids (hah!)
Then he shouldn't have a asterisk next to his name.
Root for Pujols or Ryan Howard to stay healthy and get a shot at the home run records. Those guys are both clean.

No. Like 75% of his homeruns came from steriods. They should have an asterik next to his name if he breaks it.

I do not want him to break the record, but there will not be an asterisk because all though we all know, it is still all circumstantial evidence, it is all good though A Rod if he can stay healthy will take the record from Bonds.

It really doesn't matter. The asterisks and the controversy should be put aside.
He deserves HOF because of what he did up to '98.

He shouldn't even be allowed to play this year or last year. He should retire , hang his head low and walk away from the game. He should be banned from the hall of fame and banned from baseball. Pete rose suffered for gambling to this day. Bonds should not be allowed to use enhanced performance for enhanced numbers period!

OF COURSE NOT !!!!! :( :(
i don't think anybody wants him to do it because he is not going to be recognized for that and besides if and only if he has any respect for baseball he should just retired before he make more $$$ and DRAMA with all that about steroids and that he fails the test about drugs.

No, I don't want to see him break the record. Yes, there should be an asterisk next to his name.
