I think the AL East is really dependent on the Yankees and the Red Sox, but right now the Yankees look more likely with Boston being in a slump.
For the World Series I'm thinking if the Phillies keep up their offense then they can make it easily and quite possibly win it. The problem is if they get a few injuries to their offense, they're in big trouble so they could be in jeopardy.
Despite the fact that I'm a Yankees fan, I don't see them winning the World Series this year. Their only solid pitcher is CC, with Colon and Garcia being very patchy. Nova has been good recently, and Hughes has had a rough time. The one person in their rotation that I can't say ONE good thing about is Burnett, why is he still in it at all? He needs to be sent to AAA and have some extra coaching, he needs to get back to his 2009 quality.
