what do you think of Barry Bonds tainting the record books with his "steroid" balls?

well it finally comes out once and for all. Barry was a human experiment for steroids. It is sad for the sport of baseball and now we all wonder about all the other records that have been broken in the past 10-20 years. As a big fan of baseball if Bud Selig didnt get things cleaned up some, i would have definetely not have continued to follow baseball.

My opinion is that they should only count the record upto the time that it is proven that he started taking drugs. I also think that he should be barred immediately from playing another game until he is clean. Think about it...if YOU were found by your employer to have illegal drugs in your body, what would your employer do??? You would be either fired or forced to do rehab.

Hank Aaron is being robbed indeed. What a frickin' gyp. I like your idea. Something must be done to stop this juiced-up cheater from bumping Hank Aaron down in the ranks. What happened to baseball? I mean, these records were set by people who didn't use steroids. Why can't they be broken legitimately? I hope he has an asterisk next to his name in the record books.

I am assuming they can still use an *. They put it by Roger Maris name when he broke Ruths record. I know it was for playing in a longer season but he still had one. I'm thinking baseball is afraid of what they will find if they dig too deep into the Bonds issues.

The guy was so obvious last season sitting it out the way he did. I thing what he did is far worse than what Pete Rose did. He should be banned from even playing the game. He is a liar and a cheat. But he won't be because people will still fill the seats to see him play.

I will personally never recognize his records. I still feel that Mark McGuire holds the single season record, and even that is up for speculation.

Give it up now Barry before you break a record that everyone will hate you for breaking. Oh wait we already do hate you.

Hes stupid. His homerun record should be taken away and he should lay in shame fo the rest of his life. People who break homerun records should be tested for steroids MORE OFTEN!!! like macguire and bonds and palmiero

I think he should retire now before he sets the all time record for home runs.

I had really liked Barry Bonds, but when I heard that he had taken steriods...I think that they should just erase him from the history books.

I certainly will be hard to know what to do with his records! I think he has made a mess of things for sure.

Who really cares what any of them are taking. Sports fans tend to be hypocrital. We all want our sports heros to be bigger, faster, stronger. We all love the home runs. If they want to take things to improve their performance, let them. They are grown adults.
