There, he had 1 win, 0 losses, 5 relief appearances, 5.1 innings pitched, 1 hit allowed, 1 run allowed, 1 earned run, 1 homerun allowed, 3 walks allowed, and 4 strikeouts. Parnell had a season with ups and downs, but did pretty good for his first full season.
Well, Bobby Parnell won't be the Mets setup man next season. He has the stuff. ANd he will never be the closer, the Mets aren't going to just let Francisco ROdriguez walk, they'll resign him. He'll be a starter, he showed signs of brilliance, and Manuel like hi there. He may compete for a spot if they have a spot open, if not a few, with al the questions in the rotation. I believe they will either have him in the rotation to start off the season, or send him to the minors, as a starter for month or two. Parnell has a 95 MPH plus fastball, and has good starter potential. He is going to be in there rotation this year, but it'll either be right away or later.
