Question:
Twins fans: have any of you seen the play/movie "Damn Yankees?"?

If you're unfamiliar with the plot:

A Washington Senators fan in the 1950s is upset that the Yankees keep winning and his team keeps losing. So he sells his soul and is turned into a superstar hitter for the Senators (who moved to Minnesota in 1961). He leads them to the brink of the pennant, then backs out of the deal. But he hits the game-winning homer anyway, and the Senators win the pennant over the Yanks.

My question: do you think this plan would work?

Nope they already tried it. See when you sell your soul, it goes to the devil. Who do you think the devil is? The Yankees of course. Delmon Young sold his soul for the year he's had, and then the Yankees threw it in as part of the Berkman deal, and then Berkman got the winning hit last night.

Yea I was flipping channels to find this radom person running in rf. Lol I video taped it with my phone and it's my new wallpaper hehe. I think that since he knew it was the last twins game of the season, and the last ever game at the metrodome he wanted it to be memorable and risk getting caught for entertainment. Unfortunatley it won't top the time all the fans came out like zoo animals and ran onto the field because someone got their team to the WS (I don't remember who I have the worst memory) . I don't even think he touched home!

Nate: How do you feel about the Yankees having won the last couple days? Do you think the Twins will rebound in NY and bring it back to MN and finish it off there? Or some other scenario?

Sorry, Nate, but you are desperately grasping at straws.

For the '10 Twins, looks like it will be damn those Yankees, once again.

I hope Twins fans have seen it - it's their organization (The Twins used to be these very same Senators portrayed in the movie)

Ray Walston, folks. Ray Walston.

I'm a Cubs fan who has tried that exact thing every year since 1969.

If that ain't proof it wouldn't work, nothing is!
