The biggest tv flop of the decade is "Bronx Is Burning". They just dont get it.
What would be a good Sports related mini-series people (not just in one city) would watch?
I think the '34 season would make an interesting show.
Or the '67 season. Summer of Love, Red Sox and Cards win pennants, riot at Tiger Stadium. Fantastic story.

What is your mini-series idea?

1989 Oakland A's playing sluggers McGwire and Canseco, with the San Francisco Giants with Keith Mitchell, and Will Clark, the suspenseful Drama when the Earthquake hit during the World Series.

SO the BAY AREA EARTHQUAKE WORLD SERIES.

People are watching it FYI.

You cant understand it because you're not a Yankee fan. The '67 season? Come on. The Yankees had a Bronx Zoo running in 77 with loads of controversy. You can write a BOOK about it.

Dead Set It's about a zombie outbreak in the UK while Big Brother is going on. Made in 2008. The cast includes a lot of cameos from real ex housemates, Davina who presents the UK Big Brother in 'real life', real UK news reporters (I think) etc etc. Very similar to the movie 28 Days Later. It was originally broadcast as 6 episodes of 20-something minutes each, then released on DVD as a feature length thing.

ACTUALLY, the Bronx is burning got better ratings than any of the other ESPN series. So what exactly are you talking about? I know its like saying your the best player on the worst team, but as bad as the series was it did fairly well. It's certainly no Entourage or Sopranos.

The best ESPN series was Playmakers, but the NFL protested too much saying that it negatively portrayed the league--right, like drug-using, woman-abusing players are so hard to imagine.

Maybe a series about the Sosa-McGwire HR chase in 1998--I think most people could related to that.

I did not know it was failing, its a great show.

The Barry Bonds Story.

We will have to wait till he dies, but i can wait. It would be good if we could see the whole truth.
