Question:
Why are people claiming that Albert Pujols never took steroids?

Pujols has a great swing and is a joy to watch. I really like what he does with a bat.

But with the A-Rod story, I have read several stories talking about how Albert Pujols should get credit for being clean. Am I the only one who feels that players are guilty until proven innocent? I want Pujols to be clean, I really do. But am I crazy to want more than "he never tested positive" to assure he is clean? Maybe a polygraph? Who knows, but I can't be the only fan that is skeptical.

"Am I the only one who feels that players are guilty until proven innocent?"

That is my stance. The Union, Owners, and players themselves have created this environment where they are guilty until proven innocent. And since you can not prove innocence, they got a real "catch-22."

You are going to make yourself crazy if you look at is as "all players are guilty until proven innocent." Of course, we can never know for sure and there will always be skepticism with any player during this era. That is the problem with this whole thing. It is turning into a witch hunt. I feel really sorry for the players that actually played the game cleanly during all this. They will always have to deal with questioning. I for one do not think Albert Pujols has taken steroids (I don't care if that makes me naive). And I will continue to think so unless I am proven otherwise.

Every one is innocent till proven guilty. There hasn't been a whisper about Pujols. This is exactly the attitude that muddies the waters of this issue. Forever, there have been big, muscular guys, even before steroids. If we go around accusing people because of the way they look, we might as well put the swastika on the flag.

Everybody is always looking for a hero to erase the taint of Barry Bonds... A-rod was that hero until just a few days ago. We all expected him to erase barry bonds from the record books. Now we will look to Albert Pujols until he tests positive. Then itll be Ryan Braun and if he starts the needle, some kid will come up and hit 40 homers in his rookie season... and we'll all follow him until he fails the fans

Wow this kid "A Rod is still cheating" is a loser. Why do you post that BS in every question ? For a dude who doesnt like A Rod you sure can't seem to get his d*ck out your mouth. Answer the question or gtfo.

As far as the question , it's really tough to trust anybody now. While I hope that Pujols is clean , I wouldnt be surprised if he used PED's in the past but everybody deserves the benefit of the doubt.

I think baseball statistics are a source of greatly stupid fun, but I don't expect them to be vested with Meaning. This, however, appears to be a minority view.

I dont think of he's taking steroids. despite the fact that, i think of he did use HGH. He has been examined sparkling of steroids yet HGH won't be able to be examined. additionally, he has been with a banned coach on account that he replaced into nicely-known for utilising steroids. and likewise, Mark McGwire is his new hitting coach. i presumed to believe Mark on the start at how he admits utilising roids. yet he additionally stated that "steroids did no longer help me hit those domicile runs." That have been given me thinking that I nonetheless might desire to no longer believe this guy. and because Pujols stated he supported Mark McGwire, meaning he helps what McGwire stated. so as that would desire to recommend Pujols is acquainted with a element or 2. yet that's base on what i think of. He might desire to be sparkling, he might desire to be no longer.

I don't know why everybody is in an uproar about the steroid story. Who gives a damn? People are so stupid and judgmental. I just want you to know that if you eat any kind of meat, you are taking steroids every time you eat it. If you feed your children meat or milk, you are giving your children steroids. Unless you are willing to go the entire route and get rid of the poison in all the foods, I don't think people should be made examples of because they play professional sports.

There is a chance that Pujols used steroids or still is using them.

If we going with the attitude that everyone is doing it then lets just stop watching Baseball altogether. Instead of complaining about it just boycott Baseball until they clean up their act.

Steroids aren't that big of a deal. People are just over-sensitive for no reason. If they did it without roids, good give them a cookie. But if they are jealous they had every opportunity to juice too. They need to get over it.

God-given talent.

One gets caught and they all get a bad reputation. And we call ourselves baseball fans? Let's just let MLB handle this.

i think Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, Jorge Posada, and Joba Chamberlain all took steroids. seriously, Posada had a monster year in 2007 at age 33, when catchers are supposed to decline dramatically. A-Rod* should man up and just reveal these frauds as who they are. Yankees CHEAT! that's how they won the World Series in 1996, 1998, 1999, and 2000. they are the FAKEST dynasty in sports history!!
