Do baseball players wear their batting practice jersey underneath their game jersey?

I'm wondering do baseball players have a special kind of undershirt they wear under their game jersey or is it just their bp jersey? And if it isn't their bp jersey what is it and where can you get one?

They wear an undershirt/t-shirt. (Under Armour's products are the most commonly used.)

definitely not their BP jerseys. Undershirts can range from under-armour to a simple t-shirt. I remember the Yankees few years ago asked the whole team to wear "mission 27" t-shirts under their uniforms. These shirts were placed on their chairs in the locker rooms. Mission 27 was the pursuit of their next championship.

I played major college ball twenty odd years ago, but I've followed the trends in the game. When I played, there were three schools of thought with respect to undershirts. Some guys never wore them, some guys always wore them, and the rest of us wore them sometimes. A lot of things have changed in baseball since then, but that doesn't seem to be one of them.

it depends... there's a lot of superstition, mojo, good luck charm, ritual, sort of things in baseball

..............Goose gossage used to talk to the baseball before he pitched it...saying alright now gimmee a strike etc. etc.. Of course I never heard him do it but I've seen footage where it looks like he's talking to someone on the mound
