Jose Canseco has claims that a Hall of Fame Inductee has used steroids, Who do you think it is?

Well, with the Recent leak of David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez abusing substances in 2003 before broad testing and punishment became pivotal in 2004. Jose Canseco the eager oppurtunist reportedly
spoke about a Hall of Fame Inductee using Steroids atleast one time.

With that, Im trying to figure out who it couldve been,

In 1985 Jose Canseco and H.O.F Pitcher Don Sutton Played for the A's.

In 1987 Jose Canseco and H.O.F. Reggie Jackson played for the A's

In several seasons with the A's Rickey Henderson, Dennis Eckersley and Jose Canseco played together.

In 1992 through 1994 Jose Canseco and H.O.F Pitcher .Nolan Ryan played for the Rangers.

Through 1995 and 1996 Roger Clemens and Jose Canseco
1998 Jose Canseco and Roger Clemens were teamates in Toronto.
2000 Roger clemens, Jose Canseco were teamates with the Yankee's.

2001 Frank Thomas and Jose Canseco were teamates with the Whitesox.

Potentially there are five inducted hall of famers that played with Canseco that could be tainted by this recent Jose Canseco remark, those five players being

Don Sutton, Reggie Jackson, Rickey Henderson, Dennis Eckersely and Nolan Ryan. We Know Jose Canseco is able to persuade players to do steroids, if it was limited to teams he played with these greats are potential players that are spotlighted by the allegations of Canseco. If it was through Several organizations it is possible that
an even greater range of players could be involved.

such speculation has bee a buzz that before Jose Canseco's MMA FIGHT that he mightve injected Hong Man Choi before being knocked out in 77 seconds.

thats purely speculation at this time but could be true, my question is

What Hall of Famer do you think was most likely to do Steroids with Jose Canseco?

I'm guessing Nolan Ryan.



I bet it is a player who was on the same team as Canseco at some point. Canseco has previously stated that he has no knowledge of Ricky Henderson having used steroids, so it must not be him, although Ricky would be the obvious choice.



The human body produces less testosterone as we age and muscles take a longer time to heal as a result. I'm guessing that it is either Reggie Jackson or Nolan Ryan. Nolan Ryan was throwing close to 100 mph up through his mid-40s, the same speed at which he was throwing in his 20s. I don't see how he could possibly do that naturally - even the great Randy Johnson has lost velocity as he has pitched into his mid-40s.



If it is Reggie Jackson, then Jackson is the biggest hypocrite alive, because he's been complaining about baseball's hallowed records being broken by players on steroids for years.

Maybe Ricky, he was around in the leaugue throughout the late 90's when steroids became widespread.



To the answer above, neither roger clemens or frank thomas are in the hall of fame.

Roger Clemens for sure. He was on the 2003 list and I wouldn't be surprised if he was doing it earlier. I could also see Frank Thomas potentially doing it.
