Do you think Curt Schilling is a hypocrite?

Schilling insulted Barry Bonds and said Jose Canseco’s 1988 MVP Award should be given to Mike Greenwell. He also felt that Canseco’s stats should be wiped out. However, when it came to Roger Clemens accused of using performance-enhancing drugs, Schilling urged the Rocket to sue everyone to prove his innocence.

But since Andy Pettitte recently admitted taking HGH, trainer Brian McNamee is now a very credible witness. How do you think Schilling feels now? I was always told never to make fun of others because bad karma will get you.

Now do you think Curt Schilling is a hypocrite? What do you mean that Roger Clemens should only return 4 Cy Young Awards? Why not return all 7 Cy Young Awards? Why not return his perfect game? Why not return his World Series Championship ring as well? If Canseco should forfeit all his stats, why shouldn’t Clemens do the same as well?

Schilling has a blog. He writes pieces expressing his opinion on line. No one proof reads his views. There is no editorial board. It is just one man's views, that's all. He might not even mean everything that he posts, he may be content throwing an intellectual grenade at us and watching how it goes. Schilling had something to say on national radio (either FSR or ESPN) back in May about Bonds and his record. Bonds declined to take the bait, but plenty of other people did. Does Curt Schilling think that Commissioner Selig is going to strip Clemens of his Cy Young Awards? Does Schilling think Selig knows his elbow from a hole in the ground? Schilling is using the First Amendment to skewer someone who has been named in the Mitchell Report. Is the Mitchell Report based on competent evidence. Some, but not all. Certainly where Senator Mitchell had cancelled checks and UPS mailing labels, the evidence is compelling. Yes, Gagne is a complete idiot for paying for illegal drugs by check and having them sent to the Dodgers clubhouse instead of to a mailboxes etc under an assumed name. But that type of evidence was lacking against Clemens, just the unsupported testimony of McNamee. So, no, Schilling is not a hypocrite, he is just stirring the pot, something he enjoys doing.

Canseco has already admitted to using steroids. Clemens has not. He also said in the blog that if Clemens could not prove his innocence and didn't attempt to sue that his awards should also be taken away. If you had read all of the facts instead of the ones that agreed with what you already thought you would have already known this.

No, just brain dead imbeciles too stupid not to realize most of their baseball heroes were using drugs illegally to get beefed up are calling Curt Schilling a hypocrite as they equate in their dope addled brains that a team award such as a world series ring is the same as individual recognition like a Cy Young award.

He is not a hypocrite. What he said was he wanted it to not be true that Clemens took HGH because Clemens was a mentor to him. He did say though if he could not deny it he thinks Clemens should return all of his Cy Youngs after he started taking HGH.
