Here are some great seasons that the Braves had...

1982 (Started the season 13-0)

1991 (They were the first National League team to ever go last place to first place in their division and eventually make it to the World Series)

1992 (Had some memorable moments, like the Sid Bream slide into home plate in Game 7 of the NLCS)

1995 (The first and only championship that they Braves captured in Atlanta)

1996 (Made an incredible 3-1 comeback in the NLCS against the Cards to make it to the World Series)

1998 (Went 106-56, marking the best season record the Braves ever had)

1999 (Had some great pitchers and MVP caliber players which lead them back into the World Series)

2010 (Have had some amazing comeback victories this year and are looking to capture one more ring for Bobby Cox)

Which season would you say the Braves were at their best?

The Braves of 1914 and 1957 also won the World Series so those can be seen as great years also. Not to mention 1974 can be seen as a huge year for the Braves because that's the year Hank Aaron passed babe Ruth on the career home run list.

Other years, like this year and 1982 can't be seen as successful years because nothing was accomplished. If the Braves do win the series this year perhaps we can discuss it further but as of now I'd say 1995 was the best year because not only did they win the series but look at the Future hall of Famers that were a part of that team:

Bobby Cox

Chipper Jones

Gregg Maddux

Tom Glavine

John Smoltz

and maybe perhaps more later in the future, like:

Javy Lopez

Fred McGriff

David Justice

Ryan Klesko

1995 hand down with the WS, i just wish i was a little older at the time because i was 4 years old and dont remember a thing

2010 could potentially be one though if they actually when one more for bobby. in 1995 people werent as surprised since they had made the playoffs since 1991. this year is a surprise to everybody that isnt a braves fan. of course, the fact that it's bobby's final year would made it all the more better :)

Gosh i'm hoping so. final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days they have been so close it replaced into disappointing. If Derek Lowe, Jurrjens, Hudson and Hanson can carry the rotation like i think of they're going to we ought to constantly be sturdy. If Chipper can stay remote from injuries and artwork the bat it might help a lot. Chipper and McCann are the captains in the event that they'd furnish this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days it is going to provide the who team greater confindence. With super lower back-united statesthey Braves are in sturdy shape contained while it comes to an harm. a good minor-league device shows promise in years yet to return. The bullpen is finding a lot greater valuable this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. The infield is finding greater sturdy, Im afraid of what Glaus will furnish. If he dosent furnish Hinski or Prado will. If Escobar can stay remote from such different errors this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, and Lowe can shop his era down that would desire to help very much. The rotation is finding sturdy: Derek Lowe Jair Jurrjens Tim Hudson Tommy Hanson Kawakami or Medlen(?) The bullpen seems a lot greater valuable this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, i think of they'd furnish help in previous due innings it incredibly is what they desparatley necessary final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. The outfield is finding sturdy, with a lot of lower back-up. Infield seems sturdy as ever, as long as Glaus can play a good volume of video games this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. he's my in basic terms super difficulty. The batting order is finding sturdy, yet there could be a reasonable loss of velocity, and ability..and that concerns me a splash. Nate McLouth Martin Prado Chipper Jones Brian McCann Troy Glaus Matt Diaz Yunel Escobar Heyward/Cabrera(Im uncertain approximately Wren/Cox's plans for the third outfield positon.) i'm quite in contact approximately Heyward and that Diaz wont get adequate taking part in time. I dont think of Heyward is waiting, he replaced into batting interior the .250s and suffering in double A- Mississippi. in my opinion the Braves have the means and skill to make the playoffs and in all hazard win the international series(knock on wood). i'm hoping they make it that a techniques, they'd desire to be waiting to conquer the Nationals and the different communities that arent as progressed. they'd desire to win greater of the greater-inning video games and greater of the close video games, and to no longer provide up till the final out. enable's wish for the final.
