Question:
Which bleachers are the best to sit in at a cubs game? Right or left field?

I will be attending my first Cubs game soon and I am buying bleacher seats just for the experience because I've heard its a great time out there. Is that the right thing to do? Also, I plan on taking the De Vry shuttle over to the game. Will it drop me off in front of the bleacher entry and will it be there early enough to get me a good seat in the bleachers?

Bleacher seats are awesome at a Cubs game as long as you don't have too young of kids going with you. It is pretty much a party for the whole game and before and after the game as well. Sometimes the fans get pretty rowdy but it is all just part of the experience.

I have sat in both left and right field and I think left field is definitely better. Each time I have gone the fans I have sat with were more fun in left field than right, but that may just be a coincidence. I also prefer left field because Soriano is pretty active with the fans and I prefer him rather than Bradley or Fukudome.

I am not sure about the De Vry shuttle as I have never ridden it because we always take the L from the western suburbs as we usually don't stay in the city. Just make sure you get there plenty early and stopping at Sluggers before or after the game is always fun.

It's highly doubtful you'll be able to buy bleacher seats at Wrigley Field. They sell out before the season starts.

Good luck, though.

You, little boy are a baseball know-nothing. The Cubs have only been in their present stadium since 1916. And the bleachers weren't erected until 1937.

Why don't you find a hobby you might actually know something about.

It doesn't matter. Both are equally fun.

The Left Field bleachers fill up faster because they are smaller, so make sure you go early if you want to sit there.

Sorry..not sure about the DeVry shuttle.
