Question:
How can I tell what St. Louis Cardinals games are televised that I can watch out of state?

I live in Arizona. When I go to the Cardinals website to look at the TV listings, it tells me ESPN games (which i know will be on espn) but when it lists a game on Fox (like Sat May 10th) I look on my cable schedule and it is a yankees game not cardinals. Also, games listed on FSN dont show here either since it is FSNAZ. Any help from anyone about any teams so I can tell when games are "Really" going to be on Fox? The only thing I can count on is WGN when they play the cubs, or ESPN, or if they are playing the Diamondbacks. I want to see the Fox and FSN games. The MLB season ticket is like 200 bucks for all games and I just want to watch the cardinals. Let em know. Thanks.

Fox is unlikely to show many of the Cardinals games in Arizona. Even if there is not a Diamondbacks game on at the same time, there will usually be a game that Fox expects to get higher ratings in your area (a game with the Yankees, Red Sox, or one of the other NL West teams). FWIW, you can watch some of the games online for free with P2PTV. For example, I think most Brewers games can be watched with TVAnts, so you may be able to watch Cards vs. Brewers games.

You could either go for that MLB.TV package (which I might do if I were outside of the Cardinals TV area. I don't know how I'd deal with not watching the Cards every night) or a good option is an XM radio. It has every game from every team's announcers. About $15 a month. It's fun listening to the different announcers (the home team is always the one used for the games). Listening to baseball on the radio is sometimes better than watching a TV.

Almost all games Monday thru Saturday are on Fox Sports Midwest. Sunday games, unless they are on ESPN for game of the week are on Channel 5 a local station. Not much of a chance getting Cardionals games in Arizona unless the Cardinals and Diamond backs are playing. They don't play each other until September. Cardinals are finished with SF and will be finished with Colorado after Thursday but don't play Arizone until September.

we are in the same boat, my local team is the cards and the astros (i live in arkansas) and i am a dbacks fan--i too want extra innings but it's just too expensive (they need one package for each team)--what i usually do is just check often on espn.com and keep an eye on when the dbacks are playing one of my local teams--you can usually go to fox.com and find out what teams will be playing on your station too. you might be able to go to mlb.tv or cardinals website and find a more affordable option for your games
