Like they do every year start out decent giving their fans a little hope and then crush that hope with their suckiness

Second to last or dead last in the NL Central. Once again, we start the season with only questionable pitching. Arroyo and Dave Williams are not the saving grace we needed. Offensively, we are a strong club; I would put Kearns, Griffey and Dunn up against any outfield in the National League right now. Lopez is a rising star and Freel is speed demon on the bases but...at the end of the day, unless Harang and Claussen turn into Prior and Wood...not gonna happen for us in 06

Nl Central Division is very tough. The reds have plenty

of power, but the pitching staff is suspect at best. My

prediction for the central division:

1. Cardinals

2. Cubs

3. Astros

4. Reds

5. Brewers

6. Pirates

Too close for comfort; watch out for the Brewers.

Their offense will keep them in games, but in hitter-friendly Great American Ballpark, the Reds' pitchers will struggle. If Cincinnati manages to lead in the 9th inning, closer David Weathers will keep fans nervous until the final out is recorded.

Considering the way Bronson Arroyo pitched today 3/24/06, six runs, seven hits, not very good. Griffey Jr. is a has been and gets hurt every year which leads to him miss 50 or more games a year.

Dont expect them to be a playoff team but they will surely improve. having a healthy griffey who was spectacular in the World Baseball Classic, Adam Dunn who will contend for the Home Run Title, and Felipe lopez to name a few will give them a legit offense. Their pitching is decent too. Aaron Harang is an underrated jewel and getting bronson arroyo will help. they should finish around .500

a little better than 500 this year unless they are in a comanding position at he break then castellini will pour some instant money in unlike linder but dont expect it overnight or this season

As usual, Griffey will get injured.

They will win more games this year but that's all.

Pitching, Pitching, Pitching.........there is none!
